Hackney City Farm

Hackney City Farm, at the bottom of Goldsmith’s Row beyond Broadway Market towards Hackney Road, is a brilliant place for a toddling child or two. It has goats, sheep, huge ginger pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks and some seriously adorable donkeys. There is also a large fruit and vegetable garden. On fine days the larger animals roam in the field behind the enclosures. Matilda loves the donkeys, Clover and Larry. She thinks the rabbits and guinea pigs are pretty cool too. The site is also home to the Frizzante cafe, which is highly recommended Open Tuesday-Sunday 10-3. Free.
